Anuga Foodtec 2018: visitors were enthusiastic about innovative X-ray solution

On the pulse of time:  HEUFT finds dangerous foreign objects in food packaging with the unique pulsed X-ray technology precisely and carefully.  All this and more could be seen live at this year's Anuga FoodTec in Cologne.  The world innovation in the field of radiometric in-line inspection attracted numerous visitors who were able to experience HEUFT inspections on the 90 m2 exhibition stand in full action.

Top exhibition innovation in a confined space

Dangerous foreign objects in squeeze bottles, carton composite packaging, food cans or stand-up pouches do not stand a chance with the absolute innovation in the HEUFT portfolio.  The space-saving HEUFT eXaminer II XS makes it possible to also use the pulsed X-ray technology, that no one else has to offer, in a confined space.  The newly developed stand-alone device is particularly compact for a continuous sidewall inspection without blind spots.  Even minute dangerous foreign objects are detected with the lowest level of radiation and the containers in question rejected accurately.

Full container inspection based on the HEUFT SPECTRUM II:  safe all around

Furthermore the complete container volume including glass thickness variations in the glass dome or other glass structures can be inspected with the HEUFT eXaminer II XAC.  Even minute glass splinters are found with the double base inspection.  This is glass in glass inspection on a HEUFT level!

Unparalleled precise, unparalleled low emissions

The HEUFT eXaminer II XB proved its performance live on the exhibition stand during the top-down inspection of freshly filled pouches, flow packs, thermoformed and folding boxes.  It finds minute pieces of metal even when in full food packaging with metal components – and in addition product contamination comprising glass, stone, hard plastic or other high density materials.

What do they all have in common?  The high level of automation of the HEUFT SPECTRUM II device platform and the self-explanatory HEUFT NaVi user guidance make the error-free operation of the end of line system simply easy!

Saving space whilst inspecting on a HEUFT level

In addition HEUFT presented a metal detection in a confined space.  A space saving entry into foreign object detection on a HEUFT level is made possible with the HEUFT ONE.
What is more the HEUFT canLine ensures the all-around quality inspection of empty food cans with its top-down camera technology.

Numerous guests were impressed with the exclusive radiometric, electromagnetic and optical detection technologies on the HEUFT stand in the Cologne exhibition halls and were able to gain an insight into an all-around inspection along food lines in accordance with the HACCP concept.

We would like to thank all our visitors and look forward to seeing you again soon.
